Oceanside Harbor

Here are a few photos from a recent outing to the harbor in Oceanside. Pretty cold this evening, a storm has just come through and was blowing out as I took these.

Super Scooper

A fire broke out today along the Camp Pendleton border with Oceanside. Checking the waves at Oside (perfect offshore conditions but small) we saw the super scooper coming down and making runs into the harbor, picking up water and then dumping a few miles inland over the fire line.






I ended up going for a swim later on with the water housing to get some wave shots with the smoke in the background.
