More photos from our not so recent trip to Tokyo.
Street drummer outside of Harajuku station.
The bridge behind the Harajuku station. Every weekend, teenagers from all over the Tokyo urban area come to show off their latest goth/princess/??? costumes. Murph the Gwampire would fit in perfectly here.
Sake Labels.
This is the funniest part of taking photos in Tokyo. Every time you see something interesting, compose a shot and take a photo, you turn around and see at least 2 other people with cameras with the same idea.
Searching for the meaning of life.

Nami Fest
Here are some pics and a video clip from the annual Nami(Wave) Fest surfing contest that went down this month in Hamamatsu, Japan. Special guest Al (from Al Surfboards fame) came all the wave from California to attend.
Please pardon the video quality, this was all shot with a digi still camera and a crusty tripod.

Shibuya Crossing
The famous Shibuya crossing in Tokyo. According to the omnipotent wikipedia, over 2 million pass through the Shibuya station every day. Most of those pass through the scramble intersection. Plenty of action here, a great place to people watch.
Note the Starbucks on the corner, a great place to enjoy an overpriced coffee and watch the human river.
Street performers abound...
Playing around with some slow shutter speed panning shots, trying to capture rush hour.
